• I primarily went to this place because I saw the reviews about this place being honest and trustworthy. Also because it’s close to my job. I needed a car battery and it needed to be installed.I asked for a quote and he told me for an interstate battery premium battery a price was quoted for the battery then another price for installation plus tax. I checked online and found that the price was fair since online it was a different price so I gave him the okay. After waiting for him to purchase, retrieve the battery and install the battery, I went to get my car– took about an hr. He then told me the battery is was a generic battery and was not premium. I thought he did a bait and switch on me and purchased a cheaper battery but charged me the same price as the premium. Then after checking with retailers selling the battery, they sell the battery for a certain price Also that its one of the best batteries for my car. Even better than the interstate premium brand. He actually saved me money- about 5 dollars and got me the best battery for my car. He is honest and I’m happy with his work. Lauren O.

• I want to make sure this guy gets credit for his hard, honest work.  I have limited experience at this shop, so I can’t attest to the quality of some major work.  I can, however, attest to the great customer service, honesty, and fair prices.  My brakes have not seemed right since I got them done at a local body shop, which, I regret to say, was the worst idea I ever had. So I brought them to Leder and Sons to get the rear brakes changed.  I first called to get a quote and he quoted me a certain price which was cheaper than the dealer and nearly $100 cheaper than local area shops.  He told me to come in that afternoon so that he could take a look.  I was worried he wouldn’t be able to see me because I was running late, but when I showed up, he stopped working on what he was doing and jacked my car up.  He took a look at the brakes and informed me that the pads were fine and I shouldn’t change them.  The drum however was put on to tight and had begun to gather grooves the local geniuses.  He then gave me an adjustment and told me it should be all good. He told me it would be a meager amount. (Amazing!), I will definitely be back after this interaction.  One of the least stressful encounters with a mechanic ever!
